Laura & Will’s rustic romance marquee reception
Laura & Will opted for a romantic church ceremony followed by a stunning marquee reception in their parent’s garden for their big day. The setting was picture-perfect with the sun shining, gentle breeze blowing and cocktails flowing – ideal for the relaxed & rustic, yet classic timeless feel that they wanted for their wedding day. Decor was very important to the bride and she knew the look that she wanted for her big day from the very start.
Clean crisp lines, an abundance of fresh white flowers, oodles of candles and a mirrored – yes mirrored!! – dancefloor to really get that party started! Flowers were pure white with a splash of fresh zesty lime green to give it a ‘pop’ – all arranged in an eclectic mix of assorted shape & size glass vases, positioned in random clusters, with tall glass candlesticks and assorted tealight votives nestled in amongst.
Tall green trees entwined with fairylights dotted around the marquee added to the twinkling ambience of this romantic reception. There were so many lovely finishing touches and personalised details to their day – hand crafted rustic tableplan, place names & hand-made napkins, sun parasols & suncream for the sun bunnies,’snug as a bug’ blankets for when the sun’s rays had faded, heel protectors for the ladies shoes & flip flops for when their tootsies became tired, a dazzling sparkler send-off and much, much more – the list was endless and no detail overlooked!
With an abundance of tasty treats, flowing cocktails and endless entertainment coupled with all of the finer details, the day was truly unique and personal to this couple, and they really did give their guests a good time! Photography by Dominique Bader expertly captured the essence of this
